Fun Powdery Tuesday- 3.11.2014- Solitude Mountain Resort
A quick punch storm started Monday night, and continued to dump the cold smoke into the morning on Tuesday. The snow was the fluff this place is famous for. There were a few crusty bumps, but not enough to ruin the ride. With low pressure from the lack of crowds on the hill, and some great work back in Honeycomb, this was one of the funnest days of the season for sure. Just cruising around, finding really good snow to slash it up in. Really this day was just about enjoying what snowboarding is all about, the ride! When all was said and done, I finished with a huge smile on my face, which is what I do this for. March has started out nicely, lets hope it finishes strong.
